'Ain’t gonna lie, I am a bit petty’: Entitled older woman yells at young woman not sitting “lady like” at the bus stop, young woman throws shame back on the old lady

All it takes is a dart of your eyes and closing your mouth to mind your own business. There is a difference between seeing someone who may need help and intervening and inserting your presence in a situation that literally doesn't need you at all. You see what I mean?

 

Take, for instance, this young woman who sitting cross-legged a little wider than society usually sets for woman. She was on a big bench with no one else around and she wanted to feel comfortable. However, an older woman soon came and immediately started giving her eyes. She passive aggressively asked if she could sit, which obviously she could because the bench was huge. So the young lady says of course, but the old lady kept grumbling under her breath. So the young lady asked her if she had a problem…

  • The older woman blew up and couldn't believe that she was sitting like that! It was not “lady like” etc. However, the girl had a trick up her sleeve that quickly threw the shame back on the old woman.

  • She continued being pain in my a so i, again, in a very gentle parenting way told her. "You know, i have a cyst on my ovary, the reason i sit this way is because it hurts me if i sit any other way.
